A-Light’s New Relay Wins Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine

Oceanside, CA, December 10, 2021 – A-Light™ (www.alights.com), an established best-in-class manufacturer of specification grade interior lighting solutions, today announced that its Relay luminaire has received a 2021 Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products magazine.

The PIA recognizes innovative products and applications from across the design and construction spectrum. A distinguished panel of 19 designers and lighting specialists, skilled in product evaluation, judge and evaluate the entries. Manufacturers of products and systems are awarded based on attributes, qualities, functionality, and/or performance beyond industry standards.

With curved and softened design elements, Relay can be configured into diverse geometric patterns with a seamlessly lit shape. Relay’s linear segments are available in 6-inch segments from 2-foot to 8-foot. Corner options are available in 90- and 120-degrees, enabling designers to experiment with the angles, or configure multiple shapes in an overall design. Lens-free direct distribution allows for reduced glare and seamless illumination and high performance uplight is available in various distribution patterns.

Additional flexibility is available with a tunable white option or dim to warm, with a range from 5000K to 2700K, and Relay luminaires may also be enabled with the nLight® network control system to manage lighting throughout indoor spaces to reduce energy costs and improve occupant comfort.

Acoustic panels may be added to the fixture in four standard and 26 premium colors to complement or accentuate an aesthetic, while absorbing ambient sound in a space.
