A-Light’s Absorb H Wins Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products Magazine
Oceanside, CA, November 15, 2019– A-Light (www.alights.com), an established best-in-class manufacturer of specification grade interior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce that its Absorb H luminaire has been recognized with a Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products magazine. A-Light is a part of The Luminaires Group (TLG), which was recently acquired by Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc.
The PIAs determine and honor innovation in the development and refinement of buildings-related products. Judged by a group of 14 independent industry professionals, the program represents a mechanism to impartially review products and present to readers items their peers found innovative and worth investigating.
Absorb H is a sound absorbing luminaire, combining performance optics and the most advanced acoustic materials to solve two different problems. It’s felt-like polyester panels are made from at least 40% post-consumer recycled PET bottles and are fully recyclable. With a large surface area, Absorb H’s acoustic panels decrease reverberation time and have an inherent sound absorption rate of 0.75 NRC. The luminaire is available in three distribution options with high performance optics that deliver quality light.
